We were delighted to work with the University of Glasgow to capture their newest building from a different perspective. The ARC is a stunning building set in the University of Glasgow Campus in the west end of the city. The University is creating an ambitious and exciting research environment, an environment in which people can collaborate, develop, be creative and do great things.

Solasta Riverside is a new residential development in the heart of Glasgow, offering a stunning collection of apartments with unparalleled views of the city skyline. The developers of Solasta Riverside wanted to showcase the beauty and uniqueness of the building, and that's where HawkAye came in. HawkAye is a leading provider of drone content in Glasgow, with years of experience capturing high-quality footage of various locations and events. Our expertise in drone photography and videography, combined with the brief made for an exciting project.

Find out more about us at pwsglasgow.com This was a Solar Edge installation on a detached new build garage with DC coupled battery storage system. We used the market leading Solar Edge system that does not suffer from the effects of shading, shadowing and soiling to maximise the output from each panel. This is done by installing optimisers under each panel for them to work individually rather than as a group. In traditional systems all panels drop down to the rating of the lowest powered module, wasting energy. We supplemented the system with a 9.5kW battery that can discharge at 5kW. It can store surplus energy from the solar and charge from low rate overnights tariffs such as Octopus Go then discharge at peak times to cover the load in the house from stored low rate energy. We installed a Zappi EV charger last year and have integrated it with the system allowing the client to choose to divert surplus energy into the battery, home or car.
