Art knows no bounds, and in the heart of the University of Strathclyde, two extraordinary murals have emerged, each with a unique story to tell.
We were contacted by Jay Paterson to help capture the new murals from a different perspective.
Mural on Cathedral Street, captured by the drone
The first mural, a collaborative effort with care-experienced young people, stands as a symbol of inclusivity and empowerment at Strathclyde. Our drone, combined with the vision of these young artists, brought to life a wall that now radiates hope and resilience. While Jay Paterson may not have wielded a paintbrush, his videography skills played a crucial role in capturing the essence of this mural, ensuring that its impact extends far beyond its physical presence.

UCI Mural on George Street, captured by the drone
The second mural, born from the energy of the 2023 UCI World Championships, captures the spirit of cycling in vibrant detail. Several of SWG3's resident artists took the the streets, to create an incredible full-colour mural stretching across the entire length of the NCP car park in George Street.
