As 2024 comes to a close, we’re reflecting on an incredible year of growth, creativity, and milestones. From capturing stunning aerial footage to growing our community and exploring new opportunities, it’s been a year to remember!
Glasgow from Above
This year, we continued to push boundaries, showcasing Glasgow from unique perspectives through our drone content. From iconic landmarks to hidden gems, we took our audience on breathtaking visual journeys across the city. Whether it was the sun rising over the Clyde or Glasgow’s vibrant Christmas markets, our aim was to capture the city’s essence like never before.
We also introduced exclusive behind-the-scenes reels to give you a glimpse into the creative process. Your response to these BTS moments has been phenomenal, and we’re excited to bring you even more in 2025.
Capturing Behind-the-Scenes with Meta Ray-Ban
A highlight of this year was working with the Meta Ray-Ban team to bring behind-the-scenes content to life. Using cutting-edge wearable technology, we captured immersive, first-person perspectives of our drone shoots. This collaboration allowed us to share the unseen moments—from setting up the perfect shot to navigating tricky weather conditions—in a way that felt dynamic, authentic, and engaging.
Growing Our Community
Thanks to your incredible support, HawkAye’s following on social media has grown significantly this year, we regularly reach hundreds of thousands of people.
Our niche—‘Glasgow by drone’—has resonated deeply with locals and visitors alike. Every like, share, and comment has encouraged us to keep delivering content that educates, inspires, and entertains.
It was also great to attend community events such as the Adobe Content Cirlces event that brought creatives together from all over Glasgow.
Special thanks to everyone who has shared our work, recommended us, or reached out for collaborations. It’s these connections that make the HawkAye community so special.
Exciting Projects and Partnerships
This year saw us working on some truly memorable projects, from the opening of the new Govan-Partick Bridge to covering the Premier Sports Cup at Hampden.
Driving the new Tesla Model 3 through Glen Coe was also an exciting project to work on. The car and the scenery was just unbelievable.
It was great to continue our partnership with Radisson Red and work with Invest Glasgow again this year, we love the city and it's a real privilege seeing the content shot by HawkAye on a global stage.
We were also thrilled to partner with local businesses and creators who share our passion for storytelling and creativity. Each collaboration gave us the opportunity to showcase what drone footage can bring to the table—whether it’s adding cinematic flair to a campaign or offering new perspectives for live events.
A Look Ahead to 2025
As we gear up for the new year, we’ve got some exciting plans in store:
More jaw-dropping aerial content showcasing Glasgow and beyond.
Educational content to help aspiring creators learn more about drones and content creation.
New collaborations with businesses and creators to take HawkAye’s storytelling to the next level.
To everyone who’s supported HawkAye this year—thank you. Your engagement, encouragement, and trust have been the driving force behind everything we do.
Here’s to 2025 and all the adventures that await!
