HawkAye - Creating Content From a Different Perspective

HawkAye are a Glasgow based drone agency creating content from a different perspective. Like many others, our founder Scott started out as a hobbyist. After a while however, Scott discovered he had a real passion for drone videography and photography. He started to wonder if he could turn this hobby into a business. More and more organisations are starting to realise the value that quality aerial footage can bring to their marketing. Scott was ready and eager to help them showcase their projects at their very best, and so HawkAye was born!

By the time HawkAye officially launched, Scott had gained a number of years experience in drone work and he had taken all the steps to ensure that he was commercially certified. This included taking a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) practical flying test, theory test and creating an operations manual. Scott has Operational Authorisation from the CAA and all flights are risk assessed and insured.

What We Do

At HawkAye, we love finding out all about the latest technology and implementing it within our projects. This means our customers benefit from the top video and photo editing software on the market.

Our other passion, is the city of Glasgow. We want to share the stories of our brilliant city, and encourage people to visit, work and live in Glasgow. We have worked with a number of Glasgow based companies including BBC The Social, Invest Glasgow, Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT), Glasgow City Council, Cameron Mackay Productions, Itison and Raddisson RED.

We will however, happily work across Scotland, our country has many other awesome cities and beautiful countryside which we love to film. We have worked with Edinburgh based brand, Innis and Gunn and even a couple of global brands, namely Nike and Harley Davidson.

HawkAye Case Studies

We wanted a way to share our client work with our network, which is why we have taken the decision to start a blog. It will take the format of a series of case studies explaining our process from initial project planning to the end product. We will detail the specific requirements and goals for each video or stills series we create, and tell you about any challenges along the way.

Hopefully you enjoy reading all about projects on our journey to share Glasgow and the world from a different perspective.
