In May 2025, we were proud to support Invest Glasgow at one of the UK’s most significant events for development and investment — UKREiiF (UK Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum). Taking place in Leeds from 20–22 May, the event brought together thousands of industry leaders, investors, and policymakers with a focus on shaping the future of the built environment.

Our role was to produce dynamic visual content that would represent Glasgow’s strengths as a city for capital investment and commercial development. The result was a series of drone and cinematic visuals, designed to serve as a “moving wallpaper” throughout Invest Glasgow’s exhibition space — offering a compelling, modern view of the city to delegates and passers-by.
This was more than just a creative brief. The purpose behind the content was clear:
To raise awareness of Glasgow as a leading destination for investment and innovation,
To challenge outdated perceptions of the city — particularly among those who may not have visited,
And to highlight Glasgow’s credentials as an exceptional place to live, work, play, and invest.
HawkAye specialise in telling stories from a different perspective. For this project, we captured sweeping aerial views of Glasgow’s most iconic landmarks — from the Clyde waterfront and the Hydro to the University of Glasgow and the city’s green spaces — all with the aim of reflecting the city’s ambition, transformation, and growing momentum.

Invest Glasgow, as the city’s official Investment Promotion Agency, is tasked with attracting inward investment, supporting job creation, and promoting the city on a global stage. Their participation in UKREiiF aligns with Glasgow City Council’s wider economic strategy, which identifies both foreign direct investment (FDI) and capital investment as key to driving productivity, addressing climate challenges, and promoting social inclusion.
While UKREiiF is primarily focused on capital and commercial development, this year’s event was an important opportunity for Glasgow to differentiate itself — not just through facts and figures, but through compelling visual storytelling. The HawkAye content provided a backdrop that helped create emotional connection, stimulate curiosity, and encourage dialogue.
The video below was produced and shared at one of the panel sessions:
“Glasgow: the ongoing role of innovation in the city’s transformative regeneration.”
The panel session looked at how the city has achieved a remarkable transformation through innovation and investment and the role stakeholders will continue to play in the next stage of our evolution.
We are proud to have contributed to a campaign that positions Glasgow as a forward-thinking, world-class city with enormous potential. It was a privilege to support Invest Glasgow in their efforts to promote the city at such a strategic level — and to see our work play a role in how Glasgow is perceived by investors and developers across the UK and beyond.
At HawkAye, we believe that visuals have the power to inspire and change perceptions. This project is a great example of how creative content, when used strategically, can support economic development and promote a city’s vision for the future.
