PWS are a Glasgow based electrician and specialise in Electric Vehicle charging and renewable energy solutions such as solar PV and battery storage. They’re not like every other renewable company, they turn up on time, work hard and give you peace of mind with their industry qualifications and guarantees. We were delighted when Paul at PWS asked us to capture a solar install and create a video explaining the process.
This was the first PV instal they had carried out so Paul was keen to capture the process to tell the story of the install to potential customers. We knew we could capture really useful content for Paul.
The drone allowed us to capture aerial views of the install before, during and after providing a unique perspective that only the drone could capture.
Before Paul started we worked together to produce a script for the video. Not only did this help us to make sure we covered off everything Paul wanted to say, it then gave us a list of shots that we could use to illustrate what was being said in the script.
We captured both images and video over the course of the install and then produced a 3 minute video that will guide potential customers through the whole process of the PV install.
We also produced an instagram reel that will hopefully grab peoples attention and drive them to the PWS website to learn more.
What does Paul think?
Scott produced a video for my business to show case solar panels and battery storage installs. He listened to my aims for the video and offered great advice on how it should flow. The editing process was helpful as I was offered multiple options to decide what worked best. All round it was a great service and I'm very happy with the professional finished product.
